The Woman’s Ship: World War II through the eyes of the Unicorn’s WRNS

1 March @ 12:00 pm - 20 April @ 4:00 pm

In the Second World War HM Frigate Unicorn was used as a training facility for the Royal Naval Reserve and Women’s Royal Naval Service. This exhibition will, through oral history recording, photographs and objects, explore this important part of the Unicorn’s history and the significant contribution the WRNS made to the war effort and Dundee generally in WWII. All welcome.

No. HM Frigate Unicorn is an old ship, and has limited accessibility. Whilst there is disabled access into main deck the exhibition will likely take place on the upper deck which is only reached by a set of steep stairs.
